Rick H K9 Group

Tim Ewing of the Navarino Nature Center is shown receiving a transportation scholarship check from Rick Herzfeldt of the WOODLANDS CHAPTER OF WISCONSIN DEERHUNTERS.  This money is then allocated to local schools to pay for bus transportation fees to the nature center for students to attend classes.

Members of the Shawano Co. 4H Shooting Sports Team took time out from practicing and built some gun benches for the Shawano Gun Club.  Pictured are {see below}.  The Shawano Co. 4H Shooting Sports program is co-sponsored by the Woodlands Chapt. Of Wis. Deerhunter’s Inc.

The Woodlands Chapt. Of Wis. Deerhunter’s Inc. recently held a youth learn to hunt pheasant hunt on the Warren Schmidt property in Leopolis.  Young hunters were instructed in gun safety, gun handling, hunting over dogs, marksmanship and care of game.  Shown here are some of the young hunters with their harvest.
